Delayed games causing problems in Primera Division

The fire started on the TV rights of the Primera Division. Matches of 30th stage of the Spanish first league have been postponed because of the strike teams, but not all clubs have accepted the decision.

The clubs that don’t support the strike are seeking for the annulment of a law that requires that at least one game a week must run free on a TV post that does not have broadcasting rights.

Spanish Federation (LFP) said, regarding the existing problems, that there has been no progress in talks with the clubs, the Spanish government was involved too. “Dialogue has been postponed till April”, informed the LFP.

If it will be a permanent decision, the postponement will affect the activity of the first two leagues of Spain, even if not all clubs agree with the idea. Some even asked a court in Madrid to grant the match dispute. Among them are Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Villarreal and Zaragoza.

Tottenham -1 in UCL next week?

Gareth Bale just returned after an injury in January and was ready for the most important games of his life! This weekend, the Wales will play with England while his club team will meet Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Alves, three years more with Barca

FC Barcelona‘s Brazilian defender, Dani Alves, has extended by three years, until 2015, the contract with the Catalan group, said the Spanish club.

The 27 years of age Brazilian international player transferred to FC Barcelona in 2008 from Sevilla, his contract expiring in June 2012.

Spanish press wrote earlier this year that Dani Alves has rejected a new offer to extend the contract with the Catalan group, Barca offering him six million euros per year, while Brazilian defender asked seven million euros per year.

In late February, Dani Alves said he was “optimistic” regarding the contract extension. “I am very optimistic, I know we will find a solution. I can not imagine Barca with no Alves. The signing depends on both sides. If they’ll want, I will stay. Otherwise, life will continue. I won’t pull my hair if they think I don’t deserve to stay. “Alves said.

Platini, the new old FIFA boss

In the position of sole candidate for another term of four years at the head of UEFA, Michel Platini was elected today at the Continental Congress court of Paris.
